The Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme (BSCC) is a flagship initiative providing education loans of up to ₹4,00,000 (4 Lakhs) at highly subsidized interest rates to pursue higher education courses including B.Tech.

  • Loan Limit: Up to ₹4 Lakhs covering tuition fees, hostel fees, books, and laptop purchases.
  • Interest Rate: 1% simple interest for female students, transgender, and Divyang students; 4% for male students.

2. Bihar Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS Portal)

The Bihar PMS Portal (pmsonline.bih.nic.in) facilitates direct benefit transfers (DBT) for SC, ST, BC, and EBC students studying in post-matric courses.

Essential Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must be a permanent resident (domicile) of the State of Bihar.
